Hello SJNOWIndivisibles,
Call your Representatives ask them to stop Trump from increasing the toxic chemicals in our food supply AND stop protecting toxic chemical manufacturers.
On February 18th, Donald Trump signed an executive order to increase the national production of the chemical glyphosate, a key ingredient in weedkillers like Roundup that has been linked to a marked increase in the risk of cancer. The most critical effect of this order is that it gives legal immunity to chemical manufacturers for any adverse effects of these chemicals.
Over 1,000 independent and credible studies have concluded that glyphosate and its formulations can be classified as Group 2A substances, meaning they are “probably carcinogenic to humans”. Numerous scientific bodies warn against the use of glyphosate in the farms that supply our food. Trump’s order to produce more glyphosate and shield chemical companies from liability has rightfully been met with outrage. The day after this executive order was signed, Kentucky GOP Rep. Thomas Massie proposed the “No Immunity for Glyphosate Act” to undo Trump’s order, and both Democrats and Republicans have signed on to co-sponsor the bill.
Call your representatives and tell them to oppose this sickening executive order and to support the "No Immunity for Glyphosate Act."

CALL HOLMAN AUTO DEALERSHIPS about their ICE van contract approx. 2 minute call): Our goal is to impress upon Holman that their community business reputation rests on their open communication of whether they cancelled the ICE van contract. A common first reaction to the first news of Holman's pending contract for 200 ICE detainee transport van modifications that we heard over and over was "I'll never do business with Holman again.” We want you to call as a potential buyer making a decision about dealing with Holman depending on the status of their ICE contract, and stress the fact that you have purchased cars there in the past if that's the case. Here's a link to a script & their phone numbers. Please record the fact you called by completing the report form with the script. It's important to stop ICE warehouse prison camps AND to slow down DHS access to vehicles to transport people to those prison camps, where people are detained under horrific conditions.!

Hello SJNOWIndivisibles,
Call your Senators and ask that they oppose the SAVE Act and any efforts to prevent Americans from voting.
This Act would effectively disenfranchise millions of citizens including:
married women that have taken their spouse's name
more than 140 million American citizens who do not currently have a passport, and the elderly are one of the demographic groups least likely to have one
people of color (who are 3 times more likely not to have ready access to these documents)
transgender Americans (who are often denied new passports in their new name)
many disabled Americans (who have difficulty obtaining a passport)
thousands more who have simply misplaced their documents on election day
Call your Senators and demand that they oppose the SAVE Act at all costs and protect voting rights.
Senator Cory Booker: (202) 224-3224
Senator Andy Kim: (202) 224-4744

Hello SJNOWIndivisibles,
Call your Senators and ask that they oppose the SAVE Act and any efforts to prevent Americans from voting.
Republicans in Congress have again introduced a viciously extreme anti-voter Act (called the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility or SAVE Act) and declared it among their top priorities. This bill would prevent millions of eligible Americans from voting by requiring citizens to present a birth certificate or passport to register and again to vote.
Millions of Americans don’t have easy access to these documents. This Act would effectively disenfranchise millions of citizens including:
*married women that have taken their spouse's name
*more than 140 million American citizens who do not currently have a passport, and the elderly are one of the demographic groups least likely to have one
*people of color (who are 3 times more likely not to have ready access to these documents)
*transgender Americans (who are often denied new passports in their new name)
*many disabled Americans (who have difficulty obtaining a passport)
*thousands more who have simply misplaced their documents on election day
Despite unfounded claims to the contrary, there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud. The SAVE Act is designed to block eligible people from voting, not to protect elections. This Act has already been passed in the House!! Call your Senators and demand that they oppose the SAVE Act at all costs and protect voting rights.
Senator Cory Booker: (202) 224-3224
Senator Andy Kim: (202) 224-4744

Hello, Everyone.
Thank you so much for attending my workshop last night, ‘Finding Resilience & Hope During Uncertain Times.’ I hope you enjoyed it, and that it was helpful to you. I appreciate your attendance and your engagement. It was lovely to spend the time with each of you.
Included in this email are the workshop slides, a social change map (attached—we need everyone in this fight!), and a spreadsheet with a list of mutual aid and resources (attached). Some are local to the Northern VA/DC area, but many are national resources. Here’s a link to the slides and other documents used in the workshop, which will also take you to the SJNOWIndivisible website:

Hello SJNOWIndivisibles,
Don't watch the 'State of the Union' - stand up for democracy instead!
Millions typically watch the SOTU on TV - let's make sure this year is different!
Trump has repeatedly made a mockery of speeches like the SOTU, taking a moment that is meant to bring the country together and turning it into a rally to spew hatred and division. Trump continues to use lies and propaganda to try to distract from the corruption, lawlessness and just plain cruelty that has defined his second term.
Rather than lend credence to yet another anti-democratic Trump propaganda fest, a long list of Democratic lawmakers aren't going. Let's join them! Many of the boycotting lawmakers will instead join MoveOn, MeidasTouch, and a host of other partners (including Indivisible) for the People's State of the Union, streamed live on moveon.org/live and Indivisible’s YouTube channel Tuesday 8:00 - 11:00pm.
The livestream will include, among others, Senators Tina Smith (of Minnesota) and Chris Van Hollen, Representatives Pramila Jayapal and Delia Ramirez, fellow organizers, and Americans directly impacted by the regime's cruelty and chaos. We cannot give Trump and his lies the attention he craves. This SOTU isn't business as usual -- it's a call to action. We hope you'll join us!

Call: Governor Sherrill @ (609) 292-6000
Script: Governor Sherrill, Please work with the State Legislature to pass immigrant protections that fully respect people’s due process rights to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Will you support an ITD codification that reflects the reality that thousands are getting unfairly swept up in ICE’s campaign of terror, and that our current policy has gaps that do not meet the moment or our morals? If you refuse to support due process for people with final orders and pending charges, is your budget going to reflect the need for full and expanded funding for immigrant legal services?”
Please make these calls we need to put pressure on Holman Auto Dealerships and Governor Sherrill to pass important immigrant protections!

Hello SJNOWIndivisibles,
Call To Action
Background: The privacy, ITD, and mask bills passed out of the Senate Judiciary Committee Friday. The privacy bill ran into an 11th-hour flurry of amendments, some of which would have been very limiting, but emerged with what the ACLU feels are very livable compromises on the healthcare language and some even strengthened provisions for license-plate-reader data.
It looks like full floor votes will happen on Monday 2/23 (weather permitting), so time is of the essence. Focus phone calls to Sherrill that encourage a stronger ITD bill!

TELL YOUR SENATOR TO VOTE NO ON THE "SAVE ACT"!
~ IT IS VOTER SUPPRESSION!
Republicans in Congress have introduced the extreme anti-voter Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act (H.R. 22/S.128) and declared it among their top priorities. This bill would hinder millions of eligible Americans from registering to vote by requiring citizens to present a birth certificate or passport in person to register. It has passed in the House and is now moving on to the Senate.
Here is a script:
Hi, my name is [NAME] and I’m a constituent from [your town].
I'm calling to urge Senator [Booker/Kim] to oppose the House-passed SAVE America Act, which would create unnecessary barriers to voter registration and disenfranchise countless voters, especially women, seniors, and low-income citizens. The bill is designed to block voters despite no evidence of widespread fraud.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hello SJNOWIndivisibles,
STOP ICE FROM BUILDING CAMPS IN OUR STATES!!!
*The Trump regime is planning to buy and convert industrial warehouses into ICE detention camps.
*We must stop them from building these lawless death camps.
*Demand your representatives to STOP ICE internment camps.
*These are private prison camps which will make billions of dollars (our tax money) in one year!!! That is not what I want my taxes to pay for!!!
Here is your script....
Hi, my name is [NAME] and I’m a constituent from [CITY, ZIP].
I'm calling to express my outrage about ICE’s plan to turn industrial warehouses into detention camps to further its inhumane imprisonment of our neighbors. These facilities are known for their abuse, neglect, and lack of oversight, and they cannot be allowed to operate here. I demand that [REP/SEN NAME] speak out against ICE’s expansion and propose regulations to prevent ICE from buying and building these camps in our state.

Hello SJNOWIndivisibles,
1. ICE Out of Lindenwold: Many of you are probably aware of recent aggressive operations by ICE in Lindenwold, including carrying out their heinous activities in front of children at a bus stop on Tuesday of this week. In order to demonstrate how unacceptable this activity is, there is a rally today, Feb 13 at the Lindenwold Borough Hall, 15 N White Horse Pike, at 4:00pm. (A planned march at 3:30 has been cancelled due to street conditions). This is a peaceful demonstration of solidarity and we urge attendees to avoid engaging with any counter-protesters. Signs are encouraged, and we encourage positive messages of support. Come out to how much we care for our immigrant community. https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/894801/?rname=Rich&share_context=event_details&share_medium=copy_link

3. Holman Drive-By: As mentioned at Monday night's meeting, Holman still has not confirmed that the contract for ICE deportation vehicles has been cancelled, even after repeated phone calls and hand-delivered requests. Their silence is complicity. Along with NJ Voters Want More Say and Cooper River Indivisible, we are asking for folks to come out and let Holman know this is not acceptable! We want to see corporate leadership in a refusal to enable ICE/CBP to 'disappear' people. Join us Saturday, Feb 14 at 1:00 for drive-by protest - link follows. https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/902258/?force_banner=true&share_context=event_details&share_medium=copy_linkYou may also want to call your local dealership, especially if you have done business with them (as I have) over the years. A list of dealerships can be found here: https://www.holmanauto.com/new-jersey-pennsylvania/
4. Citizens Bank Protest: In solidarity with other Indivisible groups in the region we will be holding our first event at the Citizens Bank branch on Rte 73 N and Greentree Rd (Whole Foods shopping center) on Saturday, Feb 21 from 10:30 - 11:30. Citizens Bank provides funding and other services to private companies that build and maintain detention centers under horrendous conditions. Hello SJNOWIndivisibles,
1. From Indivisible - Win of the Week: Last week, Rachel Maddow reported the resoundingly successful outcome of a campaign by RVA Indivisible and area partners demanding that Hanover County, VA reject a proposal to establish an ICE detention camp in a vacant, half-million square-foot warehouse in Ashland, VA. A large group of people, all dressed in winter coats, hats, scarves, etc, stand outside in the twilight. One is holding an American flag; many are holding signs. The signs we can read say STOP ICE/CBP MURDERS CALL CONGRESS HONK, NO CAGES NO CONTRACTS NO ICE, and ICE with a the sign for NO around it. News of the proposal broke in the local press just days before a regularly scheduled County Board of Supervisors meeting.
With little time to organize, Hanover County residents were able to pack the meeting space, so much so that dozens and dozens more had to wait outside, which they gladly did -- on an icy, frigid night. When the vote came, those in the snow could hear the cheers that erupted from those in the room: The proposal had been rejected. As one Indivisible who was live streaming the event put it: "These wonderful patriots have defeated the concentration camp!" And that's what democracy looks like.
2. Call to Action – Do This Today: Urge your legislators to refuse to fund DHS without strong limits on ICE and DHS - even if it takes a shutdown! We must keep our "pedal to the metal." We have to keep up the fight. The new DHS funding deadline is next week. That means Democrats have real leverage to stop this regime's lawlessness. Democrats must hold the line. Call your legislators. Tell them to hold the line and refuse to fund DHS without iron clad limits on ICE and the DHS, actual accountability for abuses, and clear guardrails to stop raids and intimidation.

3. Rally to Fight Trump Attacks on Workers and Retirees: Now that the weather and site have improved some so we’re back - we will be rallying again TODAY at 4:00. Slight change - we will be on the Lukoil/Westin Hotel side of Fellowship Road. The sidewalk has been cleared and there is plenty of parking behind the hotel. Some signs will be available, if you bring your own please keep it on message (Fight for Workers and Retirees Rights, Save Social Security, etc.). The next rally will be held on Feb 25 and will focus on veterans. For more information, email Pete Bilazarian at pbilazar at aol dot com or Rich Cleaver at richcl205 at gmail dot com

Hello SJNOWIndivisibles,
The Trump regime's brutal occupation of Minnesota has been historic both in its scope, and in the fierceness of Minnesotans' opposition.
On February 12, 7pm ET/4pm PT, Indivisible will join partner organizations in hosting “Resist and Reimagine: Lessons from MN on Fighting Authoritarianism.” Organizers, community members, and Reps. Ilhan Omar and Pramila Jayapal will share practical lessons we can take from the ongoing resistance in the Twin Cities as we all work to protect our own communities.
In every corner of the state, from every walk of life and political persuasion, often in sub-zero weather and with little more than whistles and phones, Minnesotans have stood against tear gas, pepper spray, and the killing of two of their own. Their shared dedication to protecting the rights and safety of all has been breathtaking, transforming crisis into action and tragedy into solidarity.
Starting with the occupation of Los Angeles and on through Washington, DC, Memphis, Chicago, New Orleans, and Portland, we've all been learning from each other. Now, in Minnesota, long-time and first-time activists are building a wealth of lived knowledge that historians, activists, and professional organizers will study closely for decades.
On February 12, we'll get actionable lessons on organizing in moments of crisis, corporate pressure tactics, rapid response, and nonviolent community defense from the awe-inspiring practitioners doing this work day in, day out in Minnesota.
The next monthly meeting is Monday, Feb 9 at 7 pm at the Mount Laurel Community Center. Doors open at 6:30 pm for coffee, cake and mingling! New people welcome.

Hello SJNOWIndivisibles,
Update on Holman Automotive Contract for ICE Deportation Vehicles
There has been no definitive confirmation that the contract has been cancelled. A Patch article quoted an unnamed source, and there has been no official statement from the company. In collaboration with CRI and other groups, a letter on this topic will be delivered to Holman corporate headquarters as soon as Feb 6. The letter will request confirmation that the contract has been cancelled (and express gratitude if that's the case) and an assurance that they will not accept similar business in the future. Protest activities have been suspended, pending Holman's response to the letter.

Hello SJNOWIndivisibles,
Our next Workers and Retirees Rally will occur on WED, Feb 11, during 4-5 PM in Mount Laurel. This Rally will support the AFGE Union's Social Security Workers. Please attend and feel free to bring signs.
-Location is the Intersection of Rt 73N and Fellowship Road in Mount Laurel. We will meet and Rally on the public sidewalk on Fellowship Road that goes into this Intersection. (Park in the Miller's/Aloft Hotel Parking Lot.) The Mount Laurel Social Security Administration (SSA) Office is located on Fellowship Rd near this Intersection.
-Our first Rally in January was a huge success with lots of positive honks from motorists AND with significant appreciation for our support expressed by the local AFGE Social Security Workers Union Leader!
-The Social Security Workers national demands of the SSA and the Trump/GOP regime for this Event include: (1) fully staff the SSA (over 20% of Social Security workers lost their jobs in 2025, working conditions are now horrible for current workers, and wait times for in-person appointments of Retirees are greater than 35 days); (2) pay Social Security Workers a living wage; and (3) keep the federal government open.

Call to Action - Urge your legislators to review the Epstein case files and hold the administration responsible for violating the law
After continuing to delay the legal mandate for releasing the Epstein Files, the Department of Justice has released another batch of investigative documents. Now the Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche claims they have released all required files and will not release more. The DOJ's continuous blockade of this release has shielded perpetrators and broken public trust. We need full disclosure. Contact your congressmen to urge them to review the Epstein case files to ensure all legally mandated documents have been released and hold the administration accountable for violating the law!

"Stunning decision yesterday by a federal judge- not just the result, but the language. Kristi Noem revoked the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) of about 350,000 people from Haiti. Five of these people sued.
The judge vacated Noem’s order, and stated: Secretary Noem referred to these people seeking refuge in the US as “killers, leeches, and entertainment junkies.”The Court finds that these people are not killers, leeches, and entertainment junkies. One is a neuroscientist, one is a software engineer, one is a lab assistant, one is a college economics major, and one is a full time RN. The Court further finds that Secretary Noem’s action was likely driven by “hostility to nonwhite immigrants”.
THAT’S the finding that blows me away.
In 43 years of practice, I have NEVER read a finding anywhere close to that in ANY court opinion. A racist , Nazi-like Administration- and now it’s official in a Court opinion. We WILL keep fighting until we get these creeps out."

The headquarters of a nationwide automobile dealership is here in Mount Laurel. A bunch of us recently found out that they had a $10 million contract to modify vans for the ICE Gestapo. As a result, some folks (like me) sent messages to their headquarters. Others drove by their dealerships with signs. All were protesting a local, well-respected company dealing with Trump's Nazis.
Today, that company cancelled its contract with ICE. And we thanked them.
Moral of the story: Every little bit helps chip away at the power of the enemy. Protests work. Don't stop. Do something, no matter how small you think it is. Small actions, taken in aggregate, can save our nation.

Hello SJNOWIndivisibles,
Call to Action
Urge your legislators to refuse to vote for any funding for the Department of Homeland Security that fails to rein in ICE.
We must rein in ICE and Border Control. Their unchecked violence, impunity, and abuse are harming our communities. Alex Pretti and Renee Good's killings are completely unacceptable. We can't wait around while ICE harms more people. We must refuse to give ICE and Border Control one more Penny to their already bloated budget, and we must have serious restrictions. We must insist on real limits and accountability before any funding is approved. Call your legislators and tell them to refuse to vote for any appropriations bill funding for the Department of Homeland Security that fails to rein in ICE.
No additional monies
No racially motivated targeting enforcement
No family detentions
No unlawful tactics
No targeting of protestors or observers
And there must be accountability!
We must stand up for the safety, dignity, and rights of all people in our communities.

DRIVE BY to Say 'NO KIDNAPPING VANS'
NJ Voters Want More Say is organizing another event Tuesday Feb 3 at 12:30 pm. We'll meet to add signs to our cars at 12:30 pm in the Moorestown Mall parking lot. Make your sign ahead for both sides of your vehicle. We'll use painter's tape to protect our cars. Details of meeting place & suggested messages in confirmation email. Register link: https://mobilize.us/s/fKwD7V

We are consumed with the news that ICE murdered a mother of 3, a US citizen.
Terrible things are happening. I’m going to offer you my way of dealing with all of the horror. I’m going to ask you to focus, not on what happened but on what the response was to what happened.
In 48 hours- 1200 marches and vigils were organized in all 50 states and DC for Renee Good. We are getting distracted by all of the horrible stuff. Renee Good, Venezuela, Greenland, the Epstein files etc etc etc. I’m going to give you a different narrative of the year 2025.
Quote from Leah Greenberg cofounder of Indivisible.,”While Trump has been able to do extraordinary damage that will have generational effects, he has not successfully consolidated power. This is not due to the efforts of elite institutions or political leadership, but due to the efforts of regular people who refused to surrender to fascism.”
The big picture? Despite capitulation from multiple institutions, ordinary people staved off authoritarian consolidation.
Hands Off, No Kings 1 and No Kings 2 were three of the biggest protest rallies ever held in American history.
The president is historically unpopular, with a very unpopular agenda like bombing Venezuela.
Trump has been busy destroying the roaring economy he was handed in January 2025. As more and more people are affected by his atrocious policies, backlash is growing.
ICE is spectacularly unpopular. Americans despise what they are seeing. They are fighting back and it is working.
The resistance is growing. Indivisible doubled the number of chapters and quadrupled its membership in 2025. Indivisible is just one of a soaring number of resistance groups.
Who read Michelle Goldberg’s full page editorial in the NY Times, 12/28/25 (The Trump Resistance is Getting Stronger).
Seen from the perspective of noted historian Heather Cox Richardson in her year end review, there have been specific pivot points.
April- The Wisconsin Supreme Court race . Elon Musk gave $20 million and still lost by 10 points. It seems like a lifetime ago, but remember our outrage at Elon Musk and
DOGE? They are all gone.
June 14- Trump’s washed up military parade coincided with the robust No Kings protest
Sept 23-When Disney took Kimmel off the air after a perceived negative comment about Charlie Kirk’s assassination, so many people cancelled Disney plus and Hulu that Kimmel’s show was reinstated.
Look how things start getting closer together.
Oct 18- No Kings 2. Huge big deal The American people wake up and the momentum shifts from the administration to the American people.
The people say:
The attempt to get rid of the federal government we have lived under for 250 years and replace it with a white Christian Nationalist Autocracy favored by only 4% of the American people is not OK. We stand with the Constitution and the Rule of Law.
We want:
The right of due process (for immigrants and everyone)
The right of our representatives in Congress to have the power of the purse
The right of our representatives to decide foreign trade policies
We don't want military in our cities.
We don’t want troops arresting us on the streets.
This is our government. What we care about needs to be represented (what leaders of the American Revolution said).
Everything starts to accelerate.
Oct 20- Trump knocks down the East Wing of the White House. Very Big Deal
Nov 5- The NJ and VA Governor’s races, legislative races
Nov 17- Trump is forced to sign the Epstein Transparency Act because of public pressure. Ramifications are only starting to be shown.
We are beating Republicans in special and off year elections. One source said Demcocrats have won 150 important elections. Every day it seems there’s another one. For example, A democrat just won 72-28 in an Iowa State Senate Special Election becoming the first black female senator in Iowa’s history.
We are seeing the rise of new young dynamic leaders.
Republicans are starting to break from Trump.
The Indiana Senate refused to do mid cycle redistricting despite massive pressure from the White House.
For the first time, a bipartisan House bill overturned Trump's executive order abolishing collective bargaining.
On Jan 8, The Senate passes a resolution to curb Trump’s ability to start wars in response to Trump’s actions in Venezuela.
At the same time, the House passes a bill to extend the ACA subsidies by 3 years. 17 Republicans defected to sign this.
Rep Khanna (D) and Massie (R), the cosponsors of the Epstein Transparency Act just asked a judge to appoint a Special Master and Independent Monitor to compel the DOJ to comply.
Two days after the Trump offered a bizarre version of the events of January 6, the Senate unanimously agreed to hang the plaque honoring the police who protected the capital. Congress passed a law in March 2022 ordering the plaque, but until now Republicans have prevented installation.
Senator Tom Tillis (R) said today he will block all Federal Reserve Nominees if DOJ doesn’t drop sham lawsuit against Jerome Powell.
Federal courts are ruling against Trump repeatedly (80% of the time according to Heather Cox Richardson)- some of that has been reversed by our partisan Supreme Court but not most off it. The Supreme Court only hears a fraction of these cases. Occasionally they even get it right- Supreme Court recently ruled that Trump can’t deploy the National Guard in Chicago.
On Dec 31 a Coalition of Democratic AG sued and won to restore $783 million in research grants to the NIH.
A judge blocked Trump’s attempt to block money for daycares from 5 Democratic states.
A judge disqualified an interim US attorney for the Northern District of NY. 5th time this has happened.
A federal judge just blocked Trump's executive order against vote by mail ballots in Washington and Oregon requiring proof of citizenship.
Grand juries are refusing to indict Trump enemies (Letitia James and James Comey).
3 grand juries refused to indict a protester who struggled while being pushed against the wall by ICE.
A Justice Department Paralegal was arrested for throwing a sandwich at ICE. He was acquitted by a jury. In the past, indictments by grand juries have been notoriously easy to secure. The public is fighting back against what it perceives as injustices against regular citizens.
Trump tried to pardon Tina Peters who was convicted on state charges of election interference in CO. Trump was informed that he had no authority, over state convictions.
Jack’s Smith congressional deposition where he clearly stated that he had evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump attempted to overthrow the 2020 election and that he was confident he would have won a conviction was released by Congressional Democrats on New Year’s Eve.
The people are getting louder and louder.
There are protests against the pillars supporting the regime. They are working. A key airline used by Trump for deportations (Avelo) cut its ties with ICE.
Spotify dropped its ICE ads.
What we are doing is working.
Taken alone any of these actions wouldn’t seem so significant. Taken together they show the story of what’s going to happen next.
I want you to believe this in every cell of your body, in your very soul- WE ARE WINNING.
It is likely that a lot of bad stuff is going to happen in the coming months-do not get thrown off course. The regime is counting on that. I want you to remember- WE ARE WINNING.
I want you to decide that every time you go to a rally, write a postcard, call your Congressman, recruit a new member to the group, register someone to vote or take any action against this regime- you are honoring someone
Renee Good?
The people of Venezuela?
The Democratic AGs, the Governors?
The judges who are standing up for the rule of law?
Jack Smith?
Jerome Powell?
Elizabeth Cronise McLaughlin- feels very different now then she did a year ago. “Now is a moment of hope. People are organizing and either stopping or slowing down the administration. We have a lot of momentum. We have a road map for what we need to do.”
The 2026 midterms are going to be a bloodbath for Republicans. We’ll retake the House and possibly the Senate as well. We will then have some real power in the Federal Government and Democrats are going to use it.
Investigations will start. At some point Articles of Impeachment will be passed. This will occupy Trump’s time. I expect the House to wait until they are sure the Senate will convict. Trump is gone. Everyone apparently hates JD Vance. He’ll be impeached next and then Hakeem Jeffries will be the next President. This is totally possible.
With a Democratic House and the ability to investigate and televise the hearings, Republicans will know they are going to be held accountable for their illegal actions and enabling Trump. It will certainly make them think twice.
Trump has said he is going to target resistance groups. Leah and Ezra are very clear that they will not back down. ACLU is supporting them and they are lawyered up and ready. We need to be a brave as them.
No Kings 3 will likely be in late March.
Ezra and Leah say they feel the Indivisible movement has reached a crescendo in 2025.
When Trump is gone (I believe sooner then we think possible right now), we don't want to put everything back to the way it was. We will have an opportunity to fundamentally change this country for the better. This moment is ripe with possibilities. Can we ensure America meets its promise?
For example- Can Trump cancel the Midterms? NO. National elections are administered on a state by state basis. Trump has no authority to cancel the midterm elections. Any attempt to do so would be met by BIG pushback from state legislators.
"WE ARE WINNING!"
